IIn January of 2006, the mayor of Hadera and the president of the Institute for Democratic Education, established the Givat Olga Pioneer Program. Its mission is to instigate renewal in the underserved Givat Olga neighborhood. and to attract to the area those who wish to partake in the creation of a new Israeli culture. Among the Program's phases is the opening of a Democratic School. This site is a bilingual site.
